Mark Wilson and Wilson Custom Marine went above and beyond to get me a new prop after I unfortunately broke a shaft and lost a prop. Mark knew my hull well from his days at Fountain Powerboats and Rolla propellers and was able to get what I needed quickly. I was so pleased with the response and customer service I ordered a spare prop and had my others checked and reworked before ever receiving the first one. I would highly recommend Wilson Custom Marine for anybody looking for prop work and solid advice.

The New Superboat Class has become so competitive that every MPH counts. That is where Wilson Custom Marine comes in. Wilson has not only perfected the art of Drive Blueprinting, they were able to help us in boat attitude with our props. All this transfers to MPH and acceleration. They have been available at race sites for support. You can’t ask for any more than that!

WARPAINT Offshore Racing
I only partner with professionals that can offer me the same level of perfection in boat racing. In the past 6 years our team has competed with 3 separate race boats, and secured 5 world championships in offshore boat racing. Wilson Custom Marine, have been instrumental preparing our outdrives and props to transfer the maximum amount of power with the least friction across the water. When they complete their “fine tuning “ the handling and performance of our race boats changes dramatically. They have always delivered on time, and exceed our expectations, whether for performance boat racing or a pleasure boating experience.

In 2009 I took over as Captain aboard a 2003 52′ Pershing Yacht, which is equipped with Arneson Surface Drives. Although it performed well at top speed, it never planed properly. In 2014 it was recommended that we send our propellers down to Wilson Custom Marine for inspection and repairs. This came from a well respected Arneson Drive Tech by the name of Paul Sanderlin of P&L Marine during our routine Spring service. Mark Wilson contacted me upon receipt of our props and confirmed all of our planing issues after he and his team performed an initial inspection. After they re-worked each prop, they noticed a crack in one of the blades during the final polish. Mark told me that we had about 30 mins run time left on that blade before it sheared off (gulp). He made a repair and shipped both props back to us in perfect condition. The props ran much quieter at top speed with less vibration. In early March 2015 I shipped the props back to Wilson Custom Marine for a routine cleaning & inspection.
