Blueprinted Drives

The primary goal of blueprinting lower units is to perfect the surface that the water is encountering before it gets to the propeller. We have spent the last 35 years researching and developing drives. Working with the best teams in Offshore powerboat racing for the last two decades has been essential to discovering what can be done to stabilize and improve performance at high speeds in smooth and choppy waters, and our experience in this field has put us far ahead in the class of blueprinting.

Wilson Custom Marine customized the lower unit to make it more hydro-dynamically efficient; by sharpening the bullet, thinning and changing the sweep of the skeg.

In order to feed purer water to the propeller, having the lower units fine-tuned relieves strain on the whole drive, the engine and even loads distributed on the boat's transom. Just wanting to get the best out of your boat.
